The Bands

Principal Band

Principal Band is a topflight C-Grade band that rehearses Wednesday nights 7pm-9pm. Principal Band can be seen at all civic and premier engagements including national and regional contests.

Concert Band

Concert Band is a youth orientated non-contesting band that focusses on playing entertaining music, with a view to being available to play at our local community engagements. Rehearsal is Tuesdays 6pm-7:15pm during school terms.

Upper Hutt Youth Academy – in conjunction with Buzzing Brass

Youth Academy meets on a Wednesday night for rehearsal 5:45-6:45pm. Small group and one-on-one tuition sessions are also provided.
